The Rutland Information Service (RIS) holds a wide range of information about children's services and registered childcare including Childminders, Creche, Holiday Schemes, Nurseries, Out of School Clubs, Pre-schools/Playgroups and non-registered Parent and Toddler groups. Visit their website here

Volunteering Opportunities with Rutland County Council

Who are we?

The Early Help and Inclusion Service offers a range of support services and opportunities for children and young people (age 0-25) and their families.

What do we offer?

In Early Help, we have a range of volunteer opportunities available, below are some examples:

  • Cooking activities with young people
  • Supporting a weekly dance class for disabled children
  • Supporting a workshop in a school on topics such as internet safety: healthy friendships
  • Supporting one of the many groups that take place at Visions Children's Centre.

How can Volunteering help me?
