Ceri Mutton Early Help Worker "My name is Ceri, I have been working as a Early Help Worker in Rutland for 5 years, it is a brilliant job because I get to meet so many children and families. I work at Visions full time so that means you may see me at the Centre, in the community or out at a home visit. As a Early Help Worker, I: Home visit parents and families to offer a range of support, I also signpost parents to other avenues of help which may be more appropriate. Complete CAF assessments and attend meetings, often acting as Lead Professional. Attend CIN, CP and core groups in relation to vulnerable children and families. Work with Young Parents – sessions, group work and 1-1 support. Parenting courses – Strengthening Families, Strengthening Communities and Fun and Families. I will be looking after St George’s Barracks in the future and plan on being a visible point of contact in partnership with Army Welfare Services. Offer 1-1 Baby Massage Supervised Contact." |
Amy Kitching Early Help Worker "I'm Amy, a Early Help Worker at Visions Children's Centre. I have been working with families for over ten years now and really enjoy supporting them to reach their potential. My role here involves supporting families in a variety of ways, often including home-visiting and supporting people to attend our sessions. I also look after the Children's Centre Volunteers and provide a family support service at St George's Barracks one day a week."
